Ron Lipps love of music developed at an early age but it was not until college that he started playing guitar and got hooked on making music. It was not until he stared playing with the 'Irish Breakfast Band' that he discovered a love of performing. A birthday present of voice lessons introduced Ron to Larry Rice and after a heroic attempt by Larry, Ron is still not a very good singer.
In addition to vocal lessons, Ron and Larry found a kinship in writing their own songs and eventually started on collaborating on writing songs. This collaboration resulted in Two Old Hearts, which was the artist name for the songs that were written and recorded by Ron and Larry. Time and lives progress and Larry is now enjoying his grandkids, occasionally teaching, and playing music with his girlfriend Ann as (Two Peas ) and I am continuing to write songs and play open mics when I get the chance.
This web site is for the music I am creating on my own. So far I have about 10-15 songs that are in various stages of completion. I have started recording some of the competed solo songs along with some songs from the Two Old Hearts era that were never recorded. I will update the web site when I have any announcements on my songwriting/recording progress so stay tuned...
